What Is Gel Polish?

Gel Polish requires a UV/LED light to cure the polish and lock it onto your nails. Gel polish is more durable than regular polish and can last up to 2 weeks! This system works best for natural or full coverage artificial nails.

Below you will find step-by-step instructions for our gel polish system. Please reach out if you need assistance.

Step One: Wash hands and dry thoroughly. Remove shine by lightly buffing the surface of each nail.

Step Two: Apply Gel Polish Base Coat to each nail making sure to avoid skin and cuticles.

Step Three: Cure nails under the UV/LED Light for 60 seconds. The base coat will remain tacky in order for the polish to have something to stick to. Do not touch or wipe with alcohol.

Step Four: Apply a thin layer of Gel Polish Color to nails. Avoid applying gel to your skin and cuticles. This will cause peeling.

Step Five: Cure under the UV/LED Light for 60 seconds. The polish will be tacky; this is normal! Do not touch or wipe with alcohol.

Step Six:Apply a second coat of Gel Polish Color to nails. Each layer will be tacky after curing. This is so that each layer will have something to stick to.

Step Seven: Cure under the UV/LED Light for 60 seconds. If you would like more coverage, repeat steps six and seven. The polish will remain tacky; this is normal. Do not touch.

Step Eight: Apply a thin coat of Gel Polish Top Coat to nails and cure under the UV/LED light for 60 seconds. The top coat is the only layer that won't be tacky.
